Subvalvular And Subvalvular Obstruction

Subvalvular And Subvalvular Obstruction is organized by CardioVillage.

Expiration date: Apr 21, 2026
Description:
Conditions other than hypertrophic cardiomyopathy or valvular aortic stenosis may be associated with obstruction and gradients involving the left ventricle and aorta. These conditions are less common than hypertrophic cardiomyopathy or valvular aortic stenosis. In this lesson, we will review the findings in the cardiac catheterization laboratory for subvalvular membrane and supravalvular aortic stenosis.
Course Details:
In this course, you will learn:
• To interpret pressure tracings showing gradients associated with sub-aortic membranes
• To differentiate the hemodynamics of supravalvular aortic stenosis from valvular aortic stenosis
Method and medium:
Learners participate in the interactive learning modules by correctly answering multiple choice questions dispersed throughout. Learners will be prompted to try again, if a question is answered incorrectly. The course will open in a new tab – to exit the course, simply close that tab.
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
