Second Tri-Society Cardiac & Thoracic Symposium (3SCTS)
Second Tri-Society Cardiac & Thoracic Symposium (3SCTS) is organized by Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and will be held from Nov 19 - 22, 2025 at ICC Sydney, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Description:
This will be a combined scientific meeting of three societies: the Cardiac Thoracic Vascular Perfusion Special Interest Group (ACE CTVP SIG), the Australian and New Zealand Society of Cardiac & Thoracic Surgeons (ANZSCTS), and the Australian and New Zealand College of Perfusionists (ANZCP). In 2025 our Symposium will be held in collaboration with the International Congress of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia (ICCVA) and the International Academy of Cardiac Anesthesia (IACA).
Our patients present with increasingly complex problems that require fully integrated team care involving many disciplines, including surgeons, anesthetists, and perfusionists. The need for scientific understanding to support our practice continues to grow and innovative procedural solutions are part of our daily work.
This Symposium will aim to bring these specialty disciplines together to improve the care of our patients in 2025 and beyond.
A distinguished international and local faculty will be actively involved in all aspects of the program including:
• Lectures
• Multi-disciplinary panel discussions
• Complex case presentations
• Workshops
• Simulations
• Hands-on wet labs
The scientific program will be diverse and cater for all interests across the entire spectrum of contemporary Cardiothoracic practice. Combining with the ICCVA/IACA enhances this wonderful opportunity with colleagues from all over the world coming together to share their experiences and techniques and learn from each other in an open and inclusive forum.
The 3SCTS 2025 will provide everyone involved in the management and treatment of cardiac and thoracic patients the opportunity to come together. The conference will be an excellent forum for the exchange of views, shared experiences, and the latest scientific knowledge; enriching collaboration between surgeons, anesthetists, perfusionists, and industry as well as providing opportunities for networking and the building of relationships internationally.
