Preceptorship Program In Orthodontics is organized by Nova Southeastern University (NSU) and will be held on Jul 01, 2024 at Nova Southeastern University College Of Osteopathic Medicine, Davie, Florida, United States of America.
Course Description:
The orthodontic preceptorship provides domestic and international candidates with an exceptional post-graduate experience in clinical and didactic orthodontics.
Course Objectives:
The preceptorship will run in conjunction with the orthodontic residency program. Preceptors will be involved in most classroom and laboratory aspects of orthodontic education except for direct patient care in the Orthodontic Clinic. The Preceptors will participate in observing, supporting and assisting in orthodontic patient care in the graduate orthodontic clinic and ongoing research projects in the department. The preceptor is not enrolled as a student of any type at Nova Southeastern University.
Upon completion of the program, the preceptor will receive a certificate of completion as documentation of their participation in the program. This certificate is not the same as the postgraduate program certificate awarded to full-time postgraduate students in the orthodontic specialty program.
