ECG: Sinus Dysrhythmias was created to increase clinical expertise in the diagnostic criteria, etiology, and treatment protocols for sinus rhythms.
Outcomes:
In order to complete this illuminative activity, participants should be better able to:
- Identify specific sinus rhythms.
- Explain the differences between sinus bradycardia, sinus tachycardia, sinus arrhythmia, and sinus halt or arrest.
- Identify the differences between atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation.
- Discuss the causes and treatments for the following sinus conditions: bradycardia, tachycardia, arrhythmia, pause, or arrest.
- Provide an ACLS treatment protocol.
