• Illustrate the use and safety of low titer group O whole blood transfusions in non-trauma clinical settings
• Evaluate the degree of pathogen inactivation achieved and effects on storage lesion using a novel direct UVC light-only treatment of RBC units in additive solution
• Describe the frequency of hemolysis or DAT positivity with use of low titer group O whole blood transfusions
• Examine whether lack of the plasticizer DEHP affects the hematologic characteristics of whole blood and blood components during storage.
