4. Pain management in hospitalized patients
   • Describe the Society of Hospital Medicine pain management guidelines
   • Learn robust treatment options for pain management in the hospital
5. Peri-operative risk assessment
   • Discuss available perioperative risk assessment tools and apply them to scenarios
6. Strategies for patients with high-risk behaviors in the hospital
   • Identify, assess, and manage high-risk, non-adherent, and violent patient behavior
7. Optimizing documentation
   • Develop documentation strategies to help them accurately capture their patient's healthcare conditions.
8. Comprehensive Soft Tissue Head and Neck Screening Examination
   • Demonstrate the ability to provide a complete soft tissue description of disease utilizing site, morphology, and color criteria
9. Differential and Provisional Diagnosis Formulation
   • Demonstrate the ability to construct an appropriate differential and provisional diagnosis of soft tissue disease
10. Proper Treatment and Management of Potentially Malignant Disorders
    • Develop an appropriate treatment and management plan.
11. Patient Follow-up and Referral Guidelines
    • Employ current patient follow-up and/or referral guidelines.
12. Risk Management Reduction
    • Integrate additional potential pitfalls resulting in increased patient risk
13. Interprofessional collaborative practice
    • Demonstrate the importance of interaction between physicians, dentists, and the healthcare delivery team
