Lee Health is the leading provider of health care in Southwest Florida and has served the citizens of Lee County and surrounding communities. Their origins can be traced to the Fall of 1916. Today, Lee Health consists of 4 acute care hospitals: Lee Memorial Hospital, HealthPark Medical Center, Gulf Coast Medical Center and Cape Coral Hospital, and 2 specialty hospitals: Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida and The Rehabilitation Hospital. In 2019, Lee Health is now home to four A-rated hospitals and they could not be more proud! Leapfrog also publishes an annual list of the top children’s hospitals in the United States and has named Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida one of the 10 best in the country for three years in a row.
