Description:
Tools Practice: Master craftsmen know their tools well
This three-credits-per-hour workshop begins with a one-hour review of the 26 tools of persuasion reviewed in the six hour CBT Tools workshop. Those who have not taken CBT Tools in some time may find there have been some interesting updates.
The middle part of the workshop consists of a self-assessment. Participants privately rate their ability to identify tools used in scripted encounters.
The final part of the workshop consists of group role plays with over 26 tools of persuasion. One of the cases reviewed is the hot topic of vaccine hesitancy.
Registrants must have taken CBT Tools within the past ten years.
Head instructor Greg Dubord, MD is the CME Director of CBT Canada, and the prime developer of medical CBT. He has presented over 500 workshops, including over 50 for the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and is a University of Toronto CME Teacher of the Year.
