Front-line nurses are often recruited to lead quality improvement activities. Thus, they must have knowledge of quality improvement science and concepts that underpin continuous quality improvement strategies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, Plan-Do-Study-Act, and Root Cause Analysis.
Goal and Learning Outcomes:
The goal of this course is to educated nurses in acute care settings with knowledge of continuous quality improvement and associated methodologies.
