North American Skull Base Society (NASBS) 33rd Annual Meeting
North American Skull Base Society (NASBS) 33rd Annual Meeting is organized by North American Skull Base Society (NASBS) and will be held from Feb 16 - 18, 2024 at Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America.
Radiosurgery Pre-Meeting Course: Thursday, February 15th
This year’s theme is “The Skull Base is Flat…”
Description:
this conference theme parallels the role the NASBS and other skull base societies around the world have played in flattening the field of skull base surgery.
Thirty years ago, the anatomical boundaries dictated by our residency training were the greatest barrier to treating complex tumors located at the base of the skull. The founding members of skull base societies decided to flatten those barriers and established the first cross disciplinary surgical specialty: Skull Base Surgery.
This year’s scientific program includes several innovations such as specialty tracks, a pre-meeting radiosurgery course, special sessions on pediatric skull base surgery and a vestibular schwannoma education day. In honor of our late friend and esteemed skull base surgeon Fred Gentili, we will host a special pituitary education day dedicated to his legacy.
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
