This course provides an overview of the types of human trafficking, current U.S. statistics, recommendations for screening, assessment of human trafficking victims and reviews available resources.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to:
• Recognize the types of human trafficking and gateways of entry
• Identify risk factors and those most vulnerable to human trafficking
• Identify screening questions for victim of human trafficking
• Understand trauma stress
• Understand the importance of trauma-informed care for traumatized victims (children and adults; male and female).
