Preparation of the dental office and staff to quickly recognize and effectively manage medical emergencies, including the basic emergency kit is described. Recognition and management of syncope is described.
Course Objectives:
• List the 4 components involved in preparation of the dental office and staff to rapidly recognize and efficiently treat medical emergencies
• Define the legal obligation of a "doctor" in management of a medical emergency
• Describe the dities of each member of the dental office EMERGENCY TEAM
• List the 7 drugs in the 'basic emergency drug kit'
