The California Dental Practice Act outlines various aspects of the practice of dentistry in the state of California. Just as dental professionals should be committed to being knowledgeable and current on all recent advancements in their clinical practice, all licensed and practicing dental professionals are also responsible for understanding the current laws governing the practice of dentistry in the state of California, contained in the Dental Practice Act. For this reason, all dental professionals who have earned a California license must fulfill 2 CE credits in the CA Dental Practice Act for each 2-year renewal period.

This Dental Resource Center course meets the requirement for continuing education regarding the California Dental Practice Act; participants will receive a certificate of completion upon earning a passing grade on the post-class exam. This class will cover all the main points of the CA Dental Practice Act and includes current news and updates about rules and regulations governing what you do in the dental office.
