Description:
This CME webinar will present practical, evidence-based strategies that target the psychological, emotional, and social domains of stuttering (the lower, underwater mass of the iceberg) to assist clients progress from tendencies of avoidance to receiving and openness. The speakers will explain how to integrate basic interpersonal counseling strategies into person-centered treatment and then will lead attendees through creating acceptance-based holistic goals and objectives and documenting progress.

You will be able to:
• unite holistic evidence-based strategies to enhance your clients' acceptance and openness toward their stuttering
• employ basic interpersonal counseling strategies in your person-centered treatment to validate and support clients’ lived experiences
• design acceptance-based goals and objectives for stuttering intervention and document progress
